ALBY is an engineering company that designs, builds, and maintains cloud infrastructure and data platforms.
We take over AWS and Google Cloud environments built by other vendors. We start with an inventory of accounts, permissions, resources, and costs, and if there is no specification, we work out the setup from the existing environment and code. We migrate while keeping the impact on operations low, and afterwards we also handle incidents and small changes. Systems built with AI coding tools are covered too.
We build new environments in Terraform code from day one (IaC), from networks and permissions to databases and data platforms. Existing environments that were set up by hand in the console are converted to code as well. Changes are reviewed and then applied automatically (CI/CD), and recurring work such as inventories and audit records is automated too.
We design monitoring and alerts for applications, databases, and batch jobs with CloudWatch or Cloud Monitoring, so problems are detected early. Recovery steps are written into runbooks, so anyone on the team can follow the same procedure.
